March 22nd | SPRING!

Last week I took Caely out to test out a new photo spot. Unfortunately there were no blooms on the trees yet in the area that I had in mind, so we drove around for a while to look for some pretty colored trees. Just as we were about to head home I peeked down a street in a Bethesda neighborhood and saw these four super pretty pink trees on a median in the middle of the street. So we made a u-turn parked in front of someones house and headed onto the median. Luckily I had picked out the perfect outfit for her to wear and it matched the trees perfectly! Caely was a great model and I love the pinkness of these pics :)

March 12th

We went to Portales on Saturday to visit with our family. We had a little party for my cousin's little boy's birthday and also celebrated my Granny's 101st birthday :)

March 9th

Caely had a great time skiing the bunny slopes on Tuesday so on Wednesday she was super pumped when we headed out to ski. Unfortunately she took a slip on the ice in the parking lot and for some reason, she didn't stop herself with her hands when she fell so she smacked her face right into the ice :( Bloody nose and scraped lip, poor thing! She wasn't feeling very excited to ski anymore so we headed into the lodge for some french fries. As you can tell by her face, she loves french fries! They seemed to do the trick so after we finished our snack we headed back out to the snow.

Skiing didn't last very long that day so we ended up playing on the snow mound with the boys. Everyone discovered how much they love to eat snow, especially Spencer haha.



March 8th

They are ready to ski!!!

March 7th

How sweet is this image? It is an amazing picure for me not only because my little girl looks so sweet, but because she NEVER sleeps anywhere except in her crib. And this day she slept in a car full of people, including two (kind of loud) little boys! I was so shocked!

We arrived at our ski resort this day (or evening really) and of course we went right out in the snow to play. This was the first time that Spencer had ever played in snow and of course, he loved it! The kids had so much fun having snowball fights and making snow angels.

Then the boys hid around the back of the house waiting to ambush my dad with snowballs when he came outside :)



There was this really awesome mountain of snow at the bottom of the actual mountain that all the kids climbed on and slid down. It was pretty cool :) Caely and I even hiked up it the next day. There was a little tunnel at the top through an igloo type thing. Very fun :)

March 6th

Caely loved watching the boys play their Nintendo DS games. She would keep grabbing them when they weren't around and trying to play them herself. I would find her pushing the same button over and over and driving poor little Mario into the same lake over and over haha.

March 5th

Caely and I took a trip last week :) Here we are on the airplane. She is playing with her new Tag and she loves that thing. So cute!

February 23rd | a video for a change of pace :)

Here is a cute little video of Caely today reading me "Go Dog Go" or part of it at least :) I love in the beginning she says "ok, be quiet and listen to the story" haha. Also, I am terrible at video taping things so sorry about that!

February 20th | a birthday party and princesses on ice

Today we had a super fun day planned! First up was a super fun birthday party at the Playseum. Then we had tickets for Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes. Caely got pretty scared when Malificent was performing but  besides that she had a great time.

February 19th | gymnastics or as Caely says "b'nastics"

I finallly had a Saturday with no photo sessions so I was able to go with Caely and Aron to her gymnastics class. Of course, I took a bunch of pictures haha. She looks like she really enjoys it and of course, is super cute while doing it!

February 14th | Happy Valentine's Day

This year I fixed Caely a little Valentine's Day bucket for her to open up in the morning. She loved it :)

February 11th | we built a shelf

When I told Caely that I bought a new shelf that we needed to build she said "wait! I'll go get my tools" haha. She was such a big help :)
